While the app will want you to have an Apple Music streaming subscription, you will still have access to your entire music library whether you downloaded the songs, purchased them or ripped them from a CD. An iPod transfer, aka an iPod file/music manager, is a kind of software that permits the transferring of media files content between an iPod and a computer or vice versa. iTunes is the official iPod transfer software, but 3rd parties have created alternatives to iTunes for working around restrictions.

What finally DID WORK was to unplug the iPhone from iTunes and manually delete all music from the iPhone – we are talking about 8000 songs – but under usage – it is just a simple swipe. Replugged everything in and voila – all songs were transferred. Who knows how long this will last – but at least it is working again. I specifically bought an iPod Touch 64 gb to act as my secondary music library backup and for mobile music. I have tried every fix from resetting to erasing the device and starting over.
I would get stuck on “waiting for changes to be applied” for hours. As soon as I unchecked sync music and sync- nothing would change on my iPhone – you would expect all of the music to be taken off. When I then rechecked sync music – I was informed that there was not enough space on my iPhone. So clearly – the music was not removed and Codec Pack then by rechecking – iTunes then could not transfer another duplicate batch of songs onto my 128gb iPhone without running out of space. So here I am stuck – unable to utilize my iPhone as my music player.
It shows up as being on the device on iTunes, if I play it from iTunes it plays the music but if I disconnect the device, the music stops playing. I have spent countless hours on this and am VERY frustrated. This is on a PC using Windows 10 and all I-devices are current release. These content and media transfer issues are often just a misunderstanding of how those preferences work. Personally, I prefer to manually sync my music and media, so I have all of the individual content sync features disabled and sync everything myself through drag & drop.
Before trying anything else, be sure you have the newest version of iTunes on the computer. Sometimes just updating to the newest version of iTunes is enough to resolve all syncing problems, particularly if the desktop software hasn’t been updated in a while. You can always download the newest version of iTunes directly from Apple by clicking here. Starting with the time, when both iphone 4 and 4th generation ipod touch brought to the market.
The sound clarity in ipod is lively and dynamic in comparison to iphone. on the other hand when you listen to music on iphone, it sounds little flat and much more focused towards its base rather than its vocals. The classic ipod are much more clearer and brighter than the apple smartphone. Iphone consisting more of fuller and balance that is also a lot different experience for those who like to listen rock more than pop. After 2014, ipod was completely eliminated from the market as apple introduce its next generation device “iphone” which is still considered one of the best devices in the market.
